The KT-X Gladiator Pro is the top-of-the-line hobby/entertainment robot within the KumoTek line. The PRO series offers an amazing 19 degrees of freedom and extremely high torque servo motors. The Gladiator PRO can lift objects and even carry other robots on its back. You can find this robot currently on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The KT-X series robots can be upgraded with the VS-IX001 Gyro Accelerometer chip. This module gives real-time feedback of both X and Y axis, allowing the robot to detect when it has fallen over face up, face down and even on its side. The user can preprogram the robot to respond to a fall by standing back up, based on the feedback provided from the accelerometer. The chip's gyro function controls the robot while it is in motion, creating a much more stabilized walking pattern and gait. This upgrade is highly recommended!
